The Somaliland Representative to the UK, HE ABDI A. Hersi welcomed the Somaliland delegation to the European Union Parliament to the mission office in London. The delegation led by the Deputy Chairman of the Republic of Somaliland Parliament the Hon Ali H. Jibril, also included the Hon Jamal A. Aden, and the advisor to The House of Elders (Upper Chamber) Fatima Saeed.
During their visit, the delegation enjoyed a lengthy discussion with the members of the mission team about recent progresses made on several spheres including the recent visit of our president to the Unites States of America, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation's new approach towards our long-overdue international recognition, and the mission plan to encourage the unity of our Diaspora communities.
The Somaliland Representative H.E. Mr. Hersi thanked the delegation for their visit and the two sides agreed to maintain visits like this and continue to exchanging information in the future.
